On priority I really enjoyed Frank Slootman's logic:
“Priority” should ideally only be used as a singular word. The moment you have many priorities, you actually have none.”
When I experimented with just picking one and focus 100% on it, it really worked well. But then it's also hard to be so ruthless :)
"But then it's also hard to be so ruthless :)" - same here. i try to use the "pomodoro technique" and allocate 25-minute slots to be 100% on whatever i am on. I slip form time to time, but overall it has been very rewarding.
I do something similar and it works well. I also meant in general, like quarterly or monthly prios :)
